Istanbul Economy Forum Brings Together Global Central Banks
Leading global economic leaders are coming together at an international forum hosted by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey.
The Istanbul Economy Forum, organized by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey at the Istanbul Financial Center Campus, will bring together central bank governors and senior policymakers from around the world.
Opening and Global Outlook Panel
Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek will deliver the opening speech of the event, followed by the first panel moderated by CBRT Governor Fatih Karahan.
Speeches by Critical Figures
Federal Reserve Board Governor Christopher J. Waller and Bank of England Governor Andrew Bailey will deliver special speeches during the event.
Monetary Policy and Sessions
On the first day of the forum, monetary policy under uncertainty and the impacts of artificial intelligence on the global economy will be discussed in various sessions.
Second Day and Closing
On the second day, growth, financial stability, and rising debt levels will be addressed, while the General Manager of the Bank for International Settlements will participate in a fireside chat.
