İrfan Tutacak, the Green List presidential candidate of the Innovative Trade Group for the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce elections on October 27, 2026, called on merchants and business people in Istanbul to participate.

İrfan Tutacak's Business Life

Born in Bismil, Diyarbakır, İrfan Tutacak settled in Istanbul in the 1990s after working in Malatya and Antalya.

Tutacak stated that he entered the textile sector in 1996, currently operates in the construction field, and provides employment to approximately 120 people.

ITO Elections and Turnout Rates

In the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, Turkey's largest chamber with approximately 820,000 members, only 48,000 members went to the ballot boxes in the 2022 elections.

Drawing attention to this situation, Tutacak argued that in the chamber's 144-year history, the management has remained within a narrow framework and has not provided sufficient service.

Inclusive Management and Member Profile

Stating that there are an estimated 350,000 to 360,000 Kurdish members within the ITO, Tutacak expressed that they will encompass not only Kurdish entrepreneurs but everyone doing business in Istanbul.

He noted that as the Innovative Trade Group, they advocate for a broad and inclusive management approach aimed at serving all segments.

Call on Merchants to Vote

He explained that the chamber consists of 80 professional groups and that they organized under the name of the Innovative Trade Group a year and a half ago.

Making a call for participation in the elections, Tutacak delivered a message to Istanbul merchants to research and vote for active candidates who take ownership.
