İYİ Party Trabzon Provincial Chairman Erkan's Statement on Economy and Politics
İYİ Party Trabzon Provincial Chairman Erkan criticized the government's economic policies and announced the reforms they would implement if they come to power.
İYİ Party Trabzon Provincial Chairman Dr. Muhammet Erkan issued a written press statement criticizing the current government's economic policies and sharing with the public the reform plans they will implement if the party comes to power.
Criticisms of Economic Policy
Arguing that Turkey's problems are not unsolvable, Dr. Muhammet Erkan stated that the economic crisis deeply affects different segments of society.
Claiming that the government fails to produce adequate solutions to the problems of citizens, Erkan emphasized that production-oriented investments specifically in Trabzon remain insufficient.
Emphasis on Public Personnel and Merit
Stating that merit will be the basis for recruitments in the public sector, Erkan expressed that the Public Personnel Selection Examination (KPSS) will be taken as the basis and the interview system will be made an exception.
He also noted that the 3600 additional indicator will be extended to all public employees, the distinction between contracted personnel and subcontractors will be removed, and the principle of equal pay for equal work will be adopted.
Tax System and Reform Targets
Stating that justice will be ensured in tax policies, the İYİ Party representative said they aim to collect less tax from the low-income group and more from the high-income group.
He expressed that tax brackets will be automatically updated according to the inflation rate and economic balances will be observed in this direction.
Labor Rights and Retirement Regulations
Conveying that severance pay will be fully guaranteed, Erkan stated that the differences between SSK, Bağ-Kur, and the Pension Fund will be eliminated.
He stated that a system of equal salary for the same premium and same service will be introduced, and 7,200 days are planned for the premium day basis.
Abundance and Prosperity Economic Model
At the end of his statement, he emphasized that they aim to implement the comprehensive economic program called the Abundance and Prosperity Economic Model by the İYİ Party.
Erkan called on citizens to closely follow their party's work in line with all these reform projects.
