Margin Trading Ban Under VBTS for Two Stocks from Borsa Istanbul
Within the framework of the Volatility-Based Measures System implemented in accordance with the Capital Markets Board decision, a one-month restriction on margin trading and short selling has been introduced for the shares of two companies.
In the announcement made by Borsa Istanbul via the Public Disclosure Platform, it was announced that new measures have been taken for certain stocks within the scope of the Volatility-Based Measures System activated pursuant to the Capital Markets Board decision.
Details of the Measures Imposed on Stocks
New steps were taken to increase security in the markets within the framework of the Volatility-Based Measures System activated pursuant to the Capital Markets Board decision.
In accordance with this decision, it was decided to apply restrictive measures for a period of one month for the shares of two companies traded on Borsa Istanbul.
Companies and Process within the Scope
According to official announcements, the shares of Gıpta Kırtasiye and Tera Yatırım were targeted by this measure decision.
The relevant stocks will be subject to new rules regarding investor transactions during the specified period.
Date Range of the Transaction Restriction
GIPTA.E and TEHOL.E shares will be subject to restrictions starting from the trades dated August 27, 2026, at the beginning of the session.
The application will continue uninterruptedly until the end of the session on September 25, 2026.
Short Selling and Margin Trading Ban
During the designated period, the stocks in question will not be subject to short selling transactions.
At the same time, margin trading in these stocks is completely prohibited.
