Publication of the FATF Report
The Financial Action Task Force (FATF) 5th Round Mutual Evaluation Report was made available on the official FATF website on September 23, 2026.
The published report detailed Turkey's institutional structure and practices in the relevant field.
Technical Compliance and Recommendation Results
As a result of the technical compliance assessments, Turkey was found compliant with 38 out of the 40 recommendations set by FATF.
Effectiveness Assessment Details
In the effectiveness review, Turkey ranked in the 'Substantially Effective' category in 3 out of a total of 11 immediate outcomes.
In the remaining 8 immediate outcomes, the country was evaluated as 'Moderately Effective'.
Grey List Risk Status
It was officially registered that the obtained results demonstrate the level Turkey has reached and that there are no strategic deficiencies.
As a result of the evaluations, it was officially emphasized that Turkey does not carry any grey list risk.
Future Period Works
It was stated that steps will be taken in the coming period to achieve improvements in the areas identified in the report.
It was reported that these efforts will be resolutely continued within the framework of the designated strategy documents.
