Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry Announced New Support Decisions
With the decisions published in the Official Gazette, significant increases were made in agricultural support amounts in the fields of crop production, livestock, and beekeeping.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry announced that the supports provided for crop production, livestock, beekeeping, and aquaculture have been increased in line with the Presidential Decrees published in the Official Gazette.
Changes in the Support Coefficient
With the new regulation, the support coefficient value per decare was increased to 367 liras for this year's production practices.
While the value, which was 244 liras in the 2025 production year, was increased by 50.4 percent, this figure was determined as 442 liras for the 2027 production year.
Support Increases in Legumes
One of the highest increases on a product basis occurred in lentil and chickpea production.
Planned production support was increased by 141 percent to 884 liras per decare, and total support amounts were updated.
Cereals and Oilseeds
The total of basic support and planned production support for wheat, barley, and corn was increased to 954 liras for the year 2026.
Support amounts for products such as sunflower, beans, soybean, canola, cotton, potatoes, onions, and safflower were also increased at various rates.
Livestock and Other Areas
In cattle breeding, the basic calf support was raised to 2,000 liras, and the water buffalo calf (malak) support to 4,000 liras.
In small ruminants, the basic lamb and kid support was increased to 430 liras, the herder support to 116,100 liras, and beekeeping and silkworm supports were also raised.
