Within the framework of austerity measures and Zero Waste targets, the Ministry of Justice achieved a total savings of 288.4 million liras by repairing malfunctioning technological devices in-house.

Workshop Activities and Repaired Devices

Maintenance and repair operations for thousands of technological products have been successfully completed to date in the repair workshop operating under the General Directorate of Information Technologies.

Thanks to these dedicated efforts, a total of 32,971 malfunctioning technological devices were restored to working condition.

Repair Activities in SEGBİS Systems

One of the critical systems prioritized in the repair workshop was the Audio and Video Information System, which enables remote hearings.

Out of 8 different types of devices and parts used in the SEGBİS project, 894 units were repaired, ensuring that judicial proceedings continued without interruption.

Reduction in Public Expenditures and Goals

Repairing devices instead of replacing them with new ones significantly reduced the need for purchasing new equipment and spare parts.

These repairs aim to reduce public expenditures and extend the lifespan of technological products.
