Global Artificial Intelligence Adoption Trends
According to data shared by Google, India's creative industry uses artificial intelligence at a rate 1.6 times higher than the global average. Meanwhile, the United States leads in technical adoption, where computer and mathematical occupations account for 30% of work-oriented artificial intelligence use.

Google has launched a new interactive and open-access experience platform allowing users to explore global artificial intelligence adoption rates across various professions, countries, and in-home uses.
Artificial Intelligence Use by Scientists
A new research study conducted in collaboration with Google, Google DeepMind, and MIT FutureTech examined how scientists use artificial intelligence. Based on ATLAS data, results from 2,600 customized artificial intelligence models and a survey of over 600 scientists from the US and the UK were shared.
Time Savings and New Hurdles
Nearly half of the scientists surveyed use artificial intelligence every day, saving about seven hours a week and dedicating this time to research. However, the study also pointed out new bottlenecks, such as the validation of artificial intelligence outputs, the accumulation of untested hypotheses, and slowdowns in physical experiments and clinical validations.
