New discount expectation in diesel prices
While successive discounts are being applied to the diesel group in the fuel market, the pricing boards are expected to change once again with a new discount projected for Tuesday.
In line with developments in the fuel market, successive discounts are being implemented on diesel prices. Following the discount carried out during nighttime hours, a new discount expectation is reflecting on the sector as of Tuesday.
Successive Discounts on Diesel Prices
As part of the changes on fuel pricing boards, a discount of 2.22 TL has been applied to diesel prices starting from midnight.
Following this initial discount, and in accordance with current information obtained from industry sources, a new discount is expected for Tuesday.
New Discount Expected for Tuesday
According to information shared by industry sources, a new discount of 4.95 TL on diesel is projected to take effect as of Tuesday, October 6.
If this projected second discount is fully reflected at the pump prices, diesel liter prices are also expected to be updated according to provinces.
Current Price Expectations by Province
With the reflection of the expected 4.95 TL discount at the pump, the liter price of diesel is estimated to drop to the level of 90.03 TL in Istanbul.
Within the scope of the same discount expectation, levels of 91.13 TL in Ankara, 91.43 TL in Izmir, and 92.83 TL in Eastern provinces are projected to be seen.
No Expectation of Change in Gasoline Prices
While successive discounts are taking place in the diesel group, no price movement or change is projected in terms of gasoline prices.
It is stated that gasoline prices will remain stable under current market conditions and that there are no expectations for any discount or price hike.
Global Markets and Oil Prices
It is observed that fluctuations in oil prices continue in global markets due to the US-Iran war, and this situation is affecting the market.
In the shadow of these developments in international markets, it is stated that Brent crude continues to trade around 102 to 103 dollars.
