New Party Chairman Özgür Özel proposed the establishment of a joint table to which expert deputies from all political parties would be invited in order to solve the fund crisis.
Stating that the table is critical and multi-dimensional, Özel emphasized that the issue must be handled with common sense and coordination.
Economic Policies and Institutional Targets
Touching upon issues such as the minimum wage, exchange rates, planning deficiencies, food inflation, and selective loans, Özel announced that they will establish the Turkey Planning Commission when they come to power.
Defending that such a crisis would not have been experienced if they were in power, the leader also reminded that they had submitted a legislative proposal similar to the Madoff crisis.
