With the new regulations prepared for the Electronic Listing Verification System, it is envisaged to transfer listing authorization contracts granted via e-Government into the system, remove listings whose authorization has expired from publication, establish new verification mechanisms for foreign owners, and transition to a secure payment infrastructure.

Authorization Integration via E-Government

When the new regulation comes into effect, the listing publication permission and authorization contract granted by the real estate owner to the real estate business via e-Government will be directly transferred to EİDS.

Automatic Removal of Expired Listings

One of the most important changes in the system will be making the connection between the listing and the authorization contract automatic.

In the event that the authorization contract is canceled, the real estate listing tied to this contract will also be automatically removed from publication.

New Verification System for Foreign Owners

Another change planned to be made in EİDS concerns properties belonging to foreigners and properties without a deed record.

In line with notifications from industry representatives, the Ministry is working on a new verification system to prevent exceptions from being used to bypass the authorization verification mechanism.

Transition to Secure Payment Infrastructure

Within the scope of the planned model, it is foreseen to use a secure payment infrastructure in high-value real estate sales.

Thanks to this infrastructure, instead of the sale price being sent directly from the buyer to the seller, it will be ensured that the payment takes place simultaneously with the transfer of ownership.

Combating Fraud and Unregistered Activities

With the new model, it is aimed to reduce risks such as fraud, theft, and payment disputes that the parties may encounter in real estate sales.

The regulation also aims to contribute to the prevention of unauthorized real estate listings and the fight against unregistered real estate brokerage.
