In fruit nectars containing no added sugar, sweeteners may be used entirely instead of sugar, and sugar may be partially replaced in low-energy nectars.
Products with Reduced Natural Sugar
Within the scope of European Union harmonization laws, the production of next-generation fruit juices with a natural sugar content reduced by at least 30 percent will be permitted.
