Official Opening of Investments Totaling 10 Billion Liras Held in Rize
With the participation of President Erdoğan, 26 completed projects were inaugurated in Rize, while the foundations for new projects were also laid.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan carried out the mass opening of 26 projects with a total value of 10 billion TL completed in the center and districts of Rize, while also announcing the good news of new investments.
Mass Opening and Housing Projects
The official opening ceremony for completed works in Rize was held with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. In addition to 465 residences, 4 commercial units, and 1 mosque built in Yağlıtaş Neighborhood, housing projects in Kendirli, Madenli, and Çayeli were put into service.
Nation's Gardens and Social Living Spaces
Nation's gardens covering a total area of 330,000 square meters throughout Rize, the İyidere Nation's Garden, the Çamlıhemşin Nation's Garden, and temporary commercial units in Güneysu were opened. Furthermore, the Isırlık Nature Park, a sports activity area, the 3rd phase of the bicycle path, a culture street, and educational investments were completed.
Transportation and Industrial Investments
The foundations for the Çiftekavak Industrial Site and the new bus terminal were laid. The region's transportation infrastructure is being strengthened through approximately 30 kilometers of the Rize-South Ring Road and Tunnels Project, the İyidere Logistics Port, and Ayder road projects.
Developments in the Healthcare Sector
Within the scope of healthcare investments in Rize, it was stated that the bed capacity has reached 1,235. It was also reported that work on the Rize City Hospital and Çayeli State Hospital projects is continuing as planned.
