Plant and animal production support amounts increased by Official Gazette decree
With Presidential Decrees published in the Official Gazette, plant, animal, and agricultural production support coefficients and unit payments were updated.
In line with the Presidential Decrees published in the Official Gazette, agricultural support amounts and coefficients—primarily for crop production, livestock, beekeeping, and aquaculture—have been increased and redefined.
Support Coefficients Increased in Crop Production
Within the scope of the decision published in the Official Gazette, the support coefficient value determined per decare for 2026 production year practices has been updated. Lentil and chickpea supports within the scope of planned production have also been significantly increased.
Basic and Planned Production Supports Updated
Total amounts of basic support and planned production support for many strategic products such as wheat, barley, corn, sunflower, cotton, and potatoes have been gradually increased according to years.
43 Percent Increase in Livestock Supports
Within the scope of the decision regarding livestock supports, the basic supports paid per bovine and ovine animal, as well as shepherd support rates, were increased by 43 percent.
Support for Beekeeping and Other Production Areas
While basic supports given per honeybee colony were increased, support amounts paid per kilogram for silkworm and mohair production were also raised.
Scope of Waste Support Expanded
Losses of offspring caused by contagious diseases were also included in the scope of waste support, and a 100 percent increase was made in support payments.
Support Message to Producers from Minister Yumaklı
Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı stated that the published decisions were implemented in order to increase agricultural production and guarantee food supply security.
