President Erdoğan: Turkey's economy has been growing for 24 quarters
Speaking at the MÜSİAD closing event in Istanbul, President Erdoğan stated that the economy has grown uninterruptedly for the last 24 quarters.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made important evaluations regarding the economy and foreign policy at the closing program of the 21st MÜSİAD EXPO International Trade Fair and the 29th International Business Forum.

The closing program of the 21st MÜSİAD EXPO International Trade Fair and the 29th International Business Forum was held at the Istanbul Expo Center.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended the program, congratulated MÜSİAD members, and touched upon the commercial importance of the fair.
Economic Growth Data
It was announced that the Turkish economy recorded a growth rate of 2.6 percent in the first quarter of 2026 and 2.3 percent in the second quarter.
With these data, it was reported that the Turkish economy continues its uninterrupted growth process for the last 24 quarters.
Income and Export Levels
It was stated that the national income per capita reached the level of 18,103 dollars as of the year 2025.
In the field of exports, significant levels were achieved in annualized goods and services figures as of August.
Global Justice and Foreign Policy
Attention was drawn to the fact that the global system is shaken by various crises and injustices.
It was emphasized that the rights of the oppressed were defended at the United Nations General Assembly and that the truth regarding the Palestinian issue will continue to be voiced.
Artificial Intelligence and the Human Factor
It was stated that the human element should not be ignored in the face of developing artificial intelligence technologies.
It was noted that the human factor will maintain its importance during the technological transformation process.
