Artificial Intelligence and Educational Innovation Addressed at the 2026 National Conference on Educational Sciences

The 2026 National Conference on Educational Sciences, held at the University of Education, Da Nang University, brought together hundreds of scientists to discuss the impacts of artificial intelligence on education and interdisciplinary approaches.

Theme and Purpose of the Conference

Organized by the Ministry of Education and Training at the University of Education, Da Nang University, the 2026 National Conference on Educational Sciences addressed educational innovation in the age of artificial intelligence.

The event advocated for a transition from a single-disciplinary approach to an interdisciplinary approach, aiming to integrate research results into educational policies.

Evaluations by the Deputy Minister

Deputy Minister of Education and Training Associate Professor Dr. Pham Quang Hung emphasized that teacher training colleges and research institutes should develop interdisciplinary research groups.

It was underlined that artificial intelligence-based solutions must be validated before becoming policy, and requested to be evaluated in terms of cost and security.

Smart Education Platforms and Components

During the meeting, it was stated that the national smart education platform, which includes AI-supported teachers and virtual reality systems, constitutes critical components.

Associate Professor Dr. Vo Van Minh, Rector of the University of Education, Da Nang University, stated that teacher training universities should help students understand technology.

Proceedings and Participation Rates

This year's conference featured 317 papers submitted by more than 120 educational institutions and research institutes from over 20 provinces and cities.

Out of the submitted papers, 225 were selected for the proceedings book, with approximately 190 of them focusing directly on artificial intelligence and education.
