Türkiye's defense and aerospace sector exports gave a record signal by rising to 10 billion 941 million dollars on an annualized basis with a 30 percent increase.

Türkiye's defense and aerospace exports reached 10 billion 941 million dollars, an annualized increase of 30 percent.

This amount reached at the end of the third quarter strengthened the probability of exports exceeding 10 billion dollars.

September and Nine-Month Period

According to TIM data, defense and aerospace exports in September were recorded at 634.1 million dollars, an annual increase of 10.7 percent.

Exports in the 9-month period of the year increased by 15.6 percent compared to the same period of the previous year, reaching 6.9 billion dollars.

Global Market and Country Shares

With these figures, Türkiye ranks 11th in global defense and aerospace export rankings.

Russia, the US, France, Germany, and China account for more than 70 percent of global exports.

Exported Product Groups

While land vehicles and general aviation products stood out in the past, munitions and unmanned aerial vehicles have been contributing in recent years.

Naval platforms and air defense systems are also among the important items strengthening the sector's product diversity.
