The application processes and participation conditions for the rental social housing campaign in Istanbul, announced by Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Murat Kurum, have been shared with the public.

Application Dates and Method

Applications for the rental social housing project in Istanbul, announced by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, will be accepted via e-Government between September 14 and September 25, 2026.

Rental Prices and Process

Within the scope of the project, 1,071 residences will be rented out for a period of 3 years to married Turkish citizens over the age of 18 who meet the specified conditions in the first phase. Rents will start from 10,000 TL per month, and no application fee will be charged.

Housing Distribution by Districts

According to the information shared by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, the districts were gathered in 4 different groups for the project, and the regions where a total of 1,071 residences will be allocated were determined.

While there are 360 residences in Başakşehir, Gaziosmanpaşa, Beyoğlu, and Güngören, and 330 in Maltepe, Tuzla, and Kartal, the distribution plan for the other districts has been announced.

The total number of residences was completed with 291 in Ataşehir, Sancaktepe, Ümraniye, and Üsküdar, and 90 in Arnavutköy.

Campaign Participation Conditions

The application conditions include being a citizen of the Republic of Turkey, having completed the age of 18, being married, and having resided uninterruptedly in Istanbul for at least 1 year.

Candidates are required not to have an independent residence registered in the land registry and their monthly net household income must not exceed the upper limit of 100,000 TL.
