Saadet Party's Gizli Reacts to Debt Increase

Saadet Party Bartın Provincial Inspector Talha Gizli drew attention to the massive increase in enforcement and bankruptcy files, stating that the debt burden experienced by citizens does not align with economic indicators.

Increase in Enforcement and Bankruptcy Files

The increase in the number of enforcement and bankruptcy files in courts has brought the debt burden of citizens back to the agenda. Saadet Party Bartın Provincial Inspector Talha Gizli stated that the number of enforcement and bankruptcy files has shown a significant increase since the beginning of the year.

Gizli stated that as a result of the reviews conducted, approximately 1 million of this increase occurred within just the last 3 months.

Change in the Number of Files by Years

Talha Gizli noted that enforcement and bankruptcy files, which stood at around 21.6 million in June 2023, have exceeded 26 million with current figures. This surge in the number of files lays bare the economic hardships experienced by citizens.

Economic Growth and Debt Contradiction

Reminding that it is claimed the economy is growing, Gizli emphasized the contradiction between official data and the situation of citizens. He expressed his reaction by saying, "It is said that the economy is growing... Then why is the citizen's debt growing this much?"

Livelihood Difficulties and Agenda

Gizli argued that the increase in enforcement files is one of the most concrete indicators of the economic difficulties faced by society. He emphasized that indebtedness and livelihood problems need to be addressed more extensively.
