Turkey has officially announced that it has initiated the necessary legal process to issue red notices for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Afek Moskovitch.

Emphasis on Legal Struggle by Minister Gürlek

Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek stated that they will never allow the crimes committed in Gaza to be covered up and the perpetrators to be protected by an armor of impunity. Minister Gürlek stated that all possibilities of national and international law will be used with determination.

Ongoing Trials in the Istanbul Court

Regarding the attack carried out against the Global Sumud Flotilla activists, prosecution is being conducted at the Istanbul 11th High Criminal Court against a total of 35 defendants, including Netanyahu and Moskovitch.

They Are Being Tried on Eight Separate Charges

Benjamin Netanyahu and Afek Moskovitch, for whom arrest warrants have been issued, are being tried on eight separate charges, including genocide and crimes against humanity.

Inter-Agency Transmission Process

It was reported that the red notice request prepared by the Ministry of Justice was forwarded to the Ministry of Interior and, following the necessary paperwork, sent to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
