State Supervisory Council Assigned to Fund Investigation

Following the fund investigation meeting held in Beştepe, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced in a statement that the State Supervisory Council, chaired by Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, has been assigned to manage the fund liquidation process and conclude the investigation.
Fund Investigation Meeting in Beştepe
An important meeting addressing the issue of the fund investigation was held in Beştepe today and concluded at 17:00.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made statements regarding the meeting during the AK Parti Extended Provincial Chairs Meeting.
State Supervisory Council on Duty
Stating that no one can tarnish the name of AK Parti, President Erdoğan announced that a fully authorized board has been established to manage the fund liquidation process.
Indicating that the State Supervisory Council has been assigned for the funds, Erdoğan stated that this council, chaired by Cevdet Yılmaz, will swiftly conclude the process.
Economy and Capital Markets Message
President Erdoğan expressed his belief that the Turkish economy will emerge from this issue even stronger.
Additionally, a message was given that capital markets will attain a much healthier structure as a result of these efforts.
Number of Arrests in the Investigation
The investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Bureau for Terrorism Financing and Laundering Crimes continues meticulously.
It was reported that within the scope of the ongoing judicial investigation, a total of 56 people, including businesspeople and company executives, have been arrested.
