Statement from Iran Regarding the Strait of Hormuz: Seven Conditions Expected to Be Met

Mohsen Rezaei, Secretary-General of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, announced that the seven conditions presented by Iran for the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz must be fulfilled by the US within three or four days.

Mohsen Rezaei made evaluations regarding the situation of the strategically important Strait of Hormuz during a television program he attended. He emphasized that it is mandatory for the seven conditions prepared for the reopening of the strait to be met by the US within three to four days.
Indirect Talks in New York
Rezai reminded that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has been in indirect contacts with the US delegation. He stated that during the minister's visit to New York, it was decided that the conditions determined by Iran would be conveyed through mediating countries.
Warnings to Neighboring Countries and Flights
Underlining that countries in the region should not become instruments of US policies, Rezaei voiced that flights belonging to neighboring countries cooperating with the Washington administration will be blocked.
