Meeting with investors within the scope of the 19th Turkey Investment Conference held in New York, Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek stated that the Turkish economy exhibits high resistance against shocks.
Minister Şimşek expressed that the country's economy continues to rise on solid foundations despite challenging global conditions and conflicts in the region.
Investment and Productivity Indicators
Stating that fixed capital investments are hovering at quite high levels relative to income per capita, Şimşek conveyed that significant momentum has been captured in productivity growth over the last two-year period.
He also emphasized that the low total indebtedness ratio and the room for maneuver offered by public finance support the economic structure.

Expressing that declining external vulnerabilities and significantly increasing international reserves raise the economy's resistance, Şimşek noted that the exit process from the FX-Protected Deposit scheme also strengthens this picture.
