Tera Portföy managers and other suspects referred to the courthouse
6 suspects, including Tera executives detained in the capital market fund transactions investigation, were sent to the courthouse.
Within the scope of the fund investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, 6 suspects, including Tera Portföy CEO Emir Münir Sarpyener and Chairman of the Board Erdin Özel, were referred to the courthouse.
Referral of Suspects to the Courthouse
The investigations carried out by the Terrorism Financing and Money Laundering Crimes Investigation Bureau of the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding transactions performed in the capital market are continuing multi-dimensionally.
The procedures at the police station for Tera Portföy CEO Emir Münir Sarpyener, Tera Portföy Chairman of the Board Erdin Özel, Fatmagül Lafçı, Bolkan Bekçi, Hasan Dörtkardeş, and İbrahim Halil Rat, who were detained within the framework of the investigation, have been completed. After undergoing health checks, the suspects were referred to the Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan.
MASAK Writ and Examinations
In the writ sent by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office to MASAK on September 17, it was requested to obtain financial data regarding the executives of Pusula Finans Holding, Tera Yatırım Menkul Değerler, Hedef Holding, and Bulls Yatırım Menkul Değerler and their subsidiaries.
In the relevant writ, it was requested that the full identities of the company executives be determined, along with the money and crypto asset transfers they made abroad since 2024 and all money inflows and outflows, to be transmitted to the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office as raw data.
Previous Developments and Arrests
Within the scope of the investigations conducted by the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, numerous names, including Tera Yatırım Holding Chairman of the Board Emre Tezmen, Doğa Sigorta Chairman of the Board Nihat Kırmızı, and various top executives, had previously been arrested.
During the course of the investigation, while some of the suspects referred to the courthouse were decided to be arrested, judicial control measures were applied regarding some names, and the total number of detainees reached 56.
