Togg T10X Maintained Its Leadership in the Automobile Market in September
While the market contracted in September, Togg maintained its top spot in total sales, and the T10X model became the most preferred vehicle in September following August.
Turkey's global mobility brand Togg managed to maintain its top spot in total sales on a model basis in September, despite the contraction in the automotive market. While total sales in the automobile market declined, the T10X model continued its leadership from August in September and achieved a significant share in the electric vehicle market.
Market Situation in September
According to data from the Automotive Distributors and Mobility Association, total automobile sales in September decreased by 27.8 percent compared to the same period of the previous year, declining to 63,736.
Leadership of the T10X Model
Despite the overall contraction in the market, Togg T10X managed to become the most preferred model by ranking first in the automobile market with 4,237 sales last month.
Best-Selling Models
In September, Renault Boreal ranked second with 3,159 sales, Renault Megane sedan third with 2,726 sales, Togg T10F fourth with 2,455 sales, and Renault Clio fifth with 1,993 sales.
January-September Period Results
In the first nine months of the year, Renault Clio ranked first in total sales on a model basis with 33,636 units, followed by Togg T10X with 22,020 sales and Renault Megane sedan with 21,776 sales.
Electric Vehicle Market Share
In September, the share of electric vehicles in total sales rose to 23.7 percent. During this period, approximately one out of every two electric vehicles sold belonged to the Togg brand.
Electric Vehicle Ranking
Togg models occupied the top two spots in electric car sales. T10X ranked first with 4,237 sales, T10F second with 2,455 sales, and Tesla Model Y third with 1,725 sales.
