TOKİ debt closure campaign announces 25 percent discount opportunity
A new payment convenience has been implemented by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change for home and workplace owners.
Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Murat Kurum announced the launch of a 25 percent discount campaign targeting citizens who purchased real estate from TOKİ and continue to pay their debts.
Details and Scope of the Campaign
Making important statements at the draw ceremony in Istanbul, Minister Murat Kurum stated that a total of 228,000 citizens who bought a house or workplace from TOKİ and continue their payments can benefit from this discount opportunity.
Application and Payment Dates
Within the framework of the launched campaign, it was reported that a 25 percent discount will be applied between September 22 and October 19 to beneficiaries who want to pay off their entire debt in cash.
Conditions for Those Making Partial Payments
An arrangement has also been made for citizens who cannot find the opportunity to close their entire debt. Those who pay at least 25 percent of the remaining debt balance will be able to benefit from the same 25 percent discount on the amount they deposit.
