Trade Minister Ömer Bolat held a comprehensive meeting with Poland's Minister of Finance and Economy, Andrzej Domanski, within the framework of his contacts in the United States of America. During the meeting, where areas of cooperation between the two countries were discussed, targets for increasing the trade volume and joint projects were addressed.
Contacts in the US and the G20 Summit
Trade Minister Ömer Bolat came together with Poland's Minister of Finance and Economy, Andrzej Domanski, within the scope of the G20 Trade Ministers Meeting held in the city of Milwaukee, USA.
Bilateral Relations and New Targets
During the meeting, the strengthening of trade ties between the two countries, contracting services, energy, logistics, and partnerships in strategic fields such as the defense industry were evaluated in detail.
Future Period Plans and Summits
As a result of the meeting, it was decided that the sixth term meeting of the Turkey-Poland Consultation Mechanism and the Turkey-Poland Investment and Business Forum would be held in the near future, hosted by Turkey.
Trade Volume and EU Relations
While it was stated that the trade volume between the two countries reached 12.5 billion dollars as of 2025, it was emphasized that the ultimate target is 15 billion dollars; furthermore, the Customs Union and Turkey-EU relations were discussed.
