Trade Minister Ömer Bolat's Export Statement: Year-End Target is 410 Billion Dollars

Speaking at the IBF Congress and the 21st MÜSİAD International Fair held at the Istanbul Expo Center, Trade Minister Ömer Bolat announced that the target of 410 billion dollars in goods and services exports will be reached by the end of the year.

Trade Minister Ömer Bolat participated in the IBF Congress and the 21st MÜSİAD International Fair organized at the Istanbul Expo Center. Making various evaluations regarding the economy and exports at the fairground, Minister Bolat drew attention to Turkey's trade potential.
Annualized Goods Export Data
In his statement, Minister Bolat reported that total goods exports on an annualized basis over the past 12 months have exceeded the 280 billion dollar threshold. He emphasized that encouraging economic figures will also arrive at the end of September.
Year-End Export Target Set
In line with the planning and available data, it was announced that total goods and services exports are projected to reach the level of 410 billion dollars by the end of the year.
Participant and Visitor Profile of the Fair
Visiting the fair stands together with MÜSİAD President Burhan Özdemir, Minister Bolat stated that purchasing delegations consisting of 400 people from 70 different countries participated in the event. A visitor turnout exceeding 80 thousand is expected throughout the organization.
