According to data from the German Federal Statistical Office, the country's exports to China decreased by 9.7 percent in 2025, falling to 81.3 billion euros.
During the same period, imports from China recorded an increase of 8.8 percent, rising to the level of 170.6 billion euros.
Hybrid Vehicle Market
According to Dataforce data, one-third of the plug-in hybrid vehicles registered across Europe in July were produced by Chinese brands.
It was observed that brands like Jaecoo, under Chery Automobile, rapidly gained market share in the European market in this field.
European Union Cooperation
The Berlin administration is seeking support from other EU members ahead of the summit to be held in Brussels in October and talks with Beijing.
