Triple hike on fuel: Price increases for gasoline, diesel and autogas
As a result of Brent crude oil prices, exchange rates and tax increases, a triple hike was implemented on fuel products and the sliding scale system (eşel mobil) has ended.
Following volatility in Brent crude oil prices, exchange rate fluctuations and tax increases, a triple hike was reflected in the fuel group. While the applied sliding scale system (eşel mobil) has ended, new prices were determined with the published Presidential Decree.

The sliding scale system (eşel mobil), which was implemented to prevent fluctuations in global markets from being reflected onto consumers, has ended, and the Presidential Decree regarding the matter was published in the Official Gazette.
Price Increase Amounts
With the new regulation, an increase of 4 liras and 10 kurus was made on the liter of gasoline, 3 liras and 60 kurus on the liter of diesel, and 1 lira and 45 kurus on the liter of autogas.
Current Istanbul Prices
While gasoline is sold at 84.50 TL, diesel at 97.10 TL and LPG at 36.44 TL on the European side of Istanbul; gasoline became 84.40 TL, diesel 96.90 TL and LPG 35.85 TL on the Anatolian side.
Ankara and Izmir Prices
In Ankara, the liter price of gasoline was determined as 85.50 TL, diesel 98.20 TL, autogas 36.54 TL; whereas in Izmir, gasoline was set at 85.80 TL, diesel at 98.50 TL and autogas at 36.44 TL.
