Turkey Advances with the Principle of Being Both Strong and Just

Speaking at the AK Party Tuzla District Presidency, officials stated that Turkey has undergone significant transformations in economy, social policies, democracy, and the defense industry over the past twenty-five years, emphasizing that the country acts with the principle of being both strong and just.

Economic Growth and Transformation

It was stated that Turkey's economic size will reach 1.8 trillion dollars by the end of this year, up from 238 billion dollars in 2002.

Ranking 11th in the world by purchasing power parity, the country holds the 16th position in nominal US dollar terms.

Social Policies and Healthcare

It was conveyed that investments in education and healthcare form the basis of social development, and Turkey was the only country to increase its score in the latest PISA test.

It was reported that the country has become a center for health tourism, currently hosting 27 city hospitals, and this number is set to rise to 40.

Democracy and Reform Process

It was stated that tutelary structures have been dismantled, democratic gains increased, and an environment has been created where people can freely live their identities.

It was expressed that reforms in the fields of democracy and law have further strengthened the country.

International Stance and Gaza

Emerging as an actor influencing processes globally, Turkey rejects the mentality of 'might makes right'.

It was emphasized that the inhumane atrocities in Gaza demonstrate that being strong alone is not enough, and one must be both strong and just.

Breakthrough in the Defense Industry

It was noted that defense industry exports exceeded 10 billion dollars last year, increasing the country's deterrent power.

It was announced that the technological level is aimed to be advanced in areas such as healthcare, energy, and artificial intelligence as well.
