The country's share in transit transportation will be increased, and the added value derived from logistics services will be enhanced.
International Transport Corridors
Emphasizing that regional crises have increased Turkey's strategic importance, weight will be given to the Middle Corridor and Development Road projects.
Work will continue by increasing the capacity, continuity, and competitiveness of international transport corridors.
Strengthening Railway Connections
Connections of critical lines such as the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars Railway Line and the Zangezur Corridor will be further solidified.
Railway routes extending from the Caspian basin to Europe will be diversified to increase transport capacity.
European and Middle Eastern Integration
With the Istanbul Northern Railway Crossing, the connections of the Middle Corridor and the Gulf region with Europe will be reinforced.
With the improvement of the Hejaz Railway, the uninterrupted continuity of the transport network towards the Middle East will be ensured.
