Retail prices in the city recorded a monthly increase of 2.11 percent in September, while annual inflation was announced as 33.55 percent.
Market Expectations of Economists
Economists participating in the AA Finance Inflation Expectation Survey had forecasted an increase in the consumer price index for September.
Experts participating in the survey expected the monthly CPI increase in September to be 2.18 percent, and annual inflation to drop to 30.16 percent.
