VakıfBank and Zero Waste Foundation Provide 10 Billion Lira Financing Support
Financing will be provided to numerous sectors through the initiative aimed at accelerating the green transformation processes of companies and public institutions.
A new financing package totaling 10 billion TL has been prepared to accelerate the transition of companies to the circular economy within the framework of Turkey's sustainable development goals.
Scope of the Financing Package
Realized in partnership with VakıfBank and the Zero Waste Foundation, the project aims to make it easier for institutions to achieve their green transformation and zero waste targets.
With the program announced at a press conference, the goal is to spread sustainable production and consumption habits across Turkey.
Target Number of Institutions
In the first phase of the comprehensive program, direct access is planned for over 500 institutions and projects across Turkey.
With the total financing volume of 10 billion TL to be created, eco-friendly investments are expected to be paved the way for in many different sectors.
Loan and Maturity Conditions
Within the framework of investment loans, financing opportunities are offered up to 50 million TL with maturities of up to 60 months.
While the maturity period extends up to 120 months for large-scale project financing, opportunities up to 10 million TL with maturities of up to 24 months are provided for working capital needs.
KGF Guarantee Support
An important step was taken to increase the functionality of the financing package and ease the collateral processes of institutions.
In this direction, it was officially announced that a total of 3 billion TL in KGF guarantee support will also be provided for the projects.
International Goals and COP31
During the meeting, the information that Turkey's zero waste initiative will be carried to the international arena was shared.
It was stated that the zero waste vision will be brought to the COP31 agenda in the upcoming period and addressed on a global scale.
