According to the weekly monetary and banking statistics published by the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye, total reserves recorded a decline in the week of September 18 compared to the previous week.
General Change in Reserves
The total reserves of the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye decreased by 4 billion 319 million dollars in the week of September 18 compared to the previous week, dropping to 174 billion 405 million dollars.
Gross Foreign Exchange Reserves
According to the data, as of September 18, the Central Bank's gross foreign exchange reserves recorded a decrease of 5 billion 636 million dollars.
Gross foreign exchange reserves, which stood at 68 billion 444 million dollars on September 11, declined to 62 billion 808 million dollars in the week of September 18.
Increase in Gold Reserves
During the same period, an upward movement and increase were recorded in the gold reserves of the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye.
Gold reserves rose by 1 billion 317 million dollars, going from 110 billion 280 million dollars to 111 billion 597 million dollars.
