Evaluation from Communications Director Duran on President Erdoğan's UN Speech
In a statement following President Erdoğan's address at the 81st UN General Assembly, Communications Director Duran stated that Türkiye will continue to act in line with its vision of a fair global order and a strong international system.
Referring to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's speech at the 81st United Nations General Assembly, Communications Director Duran stated that Türkiye will continue to convey messages of justice, peace, and human-centered principles on a global scale and defend the truth.
Gaza and Call for UN Reform
Stating that President Erdoğan brought the human tragedy in Gaza to the agenda of the international community from the UN rostrum, Duran expressed that they will continue to be the voice of a free Palestinian state.
Noting that the emphasis 'The world is bigger than 5' was reiterated in the speech, Duran stressed that a strong will for deep-rooted reform is needed to restore trust in the UN and that international law must be applied equally to everyone.
Emphases on Environment, Family, and Technology
Reporting that Erdoğan drew attention to the COP31 Leaders Summit to be held in Antalya in November, Duran stated that the Zero Waste Movement has turned into an international environmental mobilization.
It was also noted that critical topics such as the protection of the family institution, the fight against disinformation on social media, the risks posed by artificial intelligence, and the necessity of a common international legal framework were addressed.
