Details of the Armed Attack
66-year-old jeweler Zahir Cız and 39-year-old Hüseyin Altunbulduk were subjected to an armed attack while sitting in front of their workplace in Reşatbey Neighborhood, located in Adana's Seyhan district. As the unidentified assailant opened fire successively, both men were left covered in blood.
Condition of the Injured
Zahir Cız, who was severely injured in the head and various parts of his body during the attack, was taken to the hospital but could not be saved despite all medical interventions. Hüseyin Altunbulduk, who was shot in the abdomen, underwent surgery at Adana City Hospital, and it was announced that he is in critical condition.
Criminal Organization Connection
Following the bloody assassination, it emerged that Zahir Cız's name had been linked in recent months to an organized crime syndicate named the Baygaralar. It was known that tensions had previously arisen between the organization's leaders and the jeweler.
