Scope of the Teen Accounts Feature
With the Teen Accounts feature introduced in Turkey in 2025, all users under the age of 18 are automatically included in a default protected experience.
Parental Consent and Age Verification
Parental consent is mandatory for teens under the age of 16 to relax their app settings. Accounts of users under 13 are detected and blocked using AI-powered technologies.
Advertising and Safety Policies
Ad targeting for teen users is restricted solely to age and location criteria, keeping digital safety at the highest level.
My Digital World Project
As part of the My Digital World project carried out in cooperation with the Turkish Informatics Association, approximately 2,600 people have been reached so far.
In 2026, the project aims to reach a total of 2,000 students and 600 parents in Izmir, Eskisehir, Antalya, and Adana.
