Hidden Camera Allegation and Complaint Process
A female member named H.C., who was taking a shower at the SlimShape weight loss center operating in Izmir's Karşıyaka district, noticed a hidden camera lens in the area.
Recording the situation with her mobile phone, the female customer went to the police station with the footage and filed a complaint, paving the way for a judicial investigation.
Defense of the Business Owner
Business owner Rüya Doğan Arsalı stated that she was not at the facility during the incident and that they applied to law enforcement as soon as they were informed of the situation.
Arsalı stated that the person who shot the video quickly moved away from the facility with suspicious movements and that they called the police immediately.
Detailed Examination and Judicial Process
It was stated that no findings were encountered in the initial examinations, but the lens was detected during the detailed research conducted following the footage at the police station.
Defending that the camera was subsequently placed in the facility from the outside, the business owner pointed to a competing company and reported that the legal process is ongoing.
