National Air Platforms HÜRKUŞ-II and HÜRJET Complete Test Flights
Head of Presidency of Defense Industries Haluk Görgün and Air Force Commander General Rafet Dalkıran participated in the test flights of domestically produced aircraft.
Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB) Head Haluk Görgün and Air Force Commander General Rafet Dalkıran took their places in the cockpits of the HÜRKUŞ-II and HÜRJET aircraft, which are among national aviation projects, to carry out test flights.
Test Flight in the Sky
Presidency of Defense Industries Head Haluk Görgün and Air Force Commander General Rafet Dalkıran took part in the test activities of the national air platforms HÜRKUŞ-II and HÜRJET aircraft.
In a statement on his social media account, Görgün stated that they were in the sky with two important platforms of national aviation and took their places in the cockpits.
Deliveries Approaching
In line with the statements made, it was reported that the first HÜRKUŞ-II aircraft will be delivered to the inventory of the Air Force Command in a very short time.
In the video he shared, Haluk Görgün emphasized that Turkey will deliver its own national aircraft to its own forces for the first time.
Message of Pride from the Commander
Air Force Commander General Rafet Dalkıran expressed his pride in flying with an aircraft produced by his own country in the capacity of Turkish Air Force Commander.
Following these flights, it was stated that competencies in the field of national aviation will continue to be actively tested in the field.
Advanced Technology Tests with HÜRJET
In his post regarding the HÜRJET flight, Haluk Görgün conveyed that advanced technology capabilities were tested on this platform in the Blue Homeland (Gök Vatan).
During the flight activity, the performance of national systems developed by ASELSAN was examined comprehensively.
National AESA Radar Activity
Within the scope of the test flight, detection was made towards the HÜRJET P1 aircraft from the HÜRJET P2 aircraft using the ASELSAN-manufactured national MURAD AESA radar.
During the operational process carried out, a radar lock activity was also successfully performed.
