Bursa Ali Osman Sönmez State Hospital Opens in November

While the opening date of the completed Ali Osman Sönmez State Hospital in Bursa has been finalized, a Ministry of Health delegation inspected various healthcare investments in the city on-site.

Delegation from Ankara Conducts Inspections in Bursa

Adem Yılmaz, General Manager of Health Investments at the Ministry of Health, and Mustafa Sakarya, Head of the Construction Practices Department, came to Bursa to hold meetings.

Latest Status at Ali Osman Sönmez Hospital

Although the contractor company has not yet handed over the building, efforts have been accelerated to put the completed hospital in Acemler into service as soon as possible.

During the inspections, which were also attended by Provincial Health Director Dr. Mustafa Çetin, the usability of the building and the installed systems were reviewed in detail.

Relocation Process and Opening Date

It was reported that the relocation process of Çekirge State Hospital to the new building will begin within this month.

The official opening of the hospital is planned to take place in November, depending on the schedule of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Memleket Hospital and Other Proposals

The executives coming from Ankara also visited Memleket Hospital, whose restoration has been prolonged, and requested the contractor to speed up the work.

Additionally, a new proposal will be submitted to the Ministry of Health for the building to be vacated by Çekirge State Hospital to be converted into a Physical Therapy Hospital.
