400 municipal employees performing hazardous jobs in Bodrum underwent periodic health checks.
Bodrum Municipality has successfully completed periodic health screenings and examinations for its 400 personnel working in the field and classified within the hazardous class.
Purpose of the Health Screening
Bodrum Municipality continues its periodic health screenings and examinations with the aim of protecting the health of its field employees and ensuring safe working conditions.
Carried out within the Occupational Health and Safety Unit under the leadership of Workplace Physician Dr. Doğan Özkan, 400 field personnel underwent comprehensive health checks.
Included Units
Routine examinations of employees working in the Cleaning Affairs, Science Affairs, Support Services, and Parks and Gardens directorates of Bodrum Municipality, which are classified as hazardous and very hazardous, have been completed.
As part of the efforts, a total of 400 field personnel working in these units were included in the health screening.
Applied Tests and Examinations
Within the scope of the efforts, lung X-rays of the personnel were taken according to the risk factors in their job sectors, tetanus vaccinations were administered, and special tests were conducted for those deemed necessary.
Special periodic tests such as hearing tests and respiratory function tests were meticulously applied to the personnel deemed necessary.

The implementation was carried out by occupational health and safety experts and medical personnel under the leadership of the workplace physician working at Bodrum Municipality.
Dr. Doğan Özkan stated that the employees are regularly checked according to the nature of the work performed and that the necessary examinations are carried out.
