A Day Treatment Unit has been put into service at Gaziantep City Hospital to allow medical procedures that can be completed in a short time to be performed without the need for hospital admission.

Purpose of the Unit's Opening

A new unit has been put into operation at Gaziantep City Hospital with the aim of administering short-term treatments without the need for hospital admission.

Established with the coordination and support of the Provincial Directorate of Health, the unit aims to contribute to faster access to healthcare services for citizens in need of short-term treatment.

Capacity and Technical Equipment

Operating in the health corridor of the hospital, the new unit features a total of 18 beds and 6 treatment chairs.

Thanks to the current capacity, short-term medical procedures for eligible patients can be carried out in a comfortable environment.

Which Patients Are Referred

Patients examined in the internal medicine, rheumatology, endocrinology, nephrology, and gastroenterology outpatient clinics who require treatment are referred to this unit.

The short-term treatments of the referred patients are completed quickly in the relevant unit.

Visit and Inspection by Management

Gaziantep City Hospital Chief Physician Prof. Dr. Ahmet Uluşan visited the newly opened Day Treatment Unit and conducted inspections.

Uluşan received detailed information from healthcare personnel regarding ongoing operations while also conveying his best wishes to patients receiving treatment.
