Across Thanh Hoa, the integration of electronic health records into the VNeID application is being promoted to facilitate citizens' access to medical examination and treatment information.

Transfer to Electronic Format

Citizens' health information is being completely transferred from traditional paper-based medical records, prescriptions, and test results to an electronic format.

Thanks to this transformation, it has become much easier for individuals to securely store their medical examination and treatment information and access this data whenever they wish.

Leadership in Integration Rate

As of August 24, 2026, a total of 1,754,659 health insurance cards and electronic health records have been successfully integrated into the VNeID system across the province.

Thanh Hoa maintains its leading position nationwide in this integration rate based on the number of valid health insurance cards.

Cross-Sector Connectivity

Electronic records implemented in the health sector ensure the storage and updating of information regarding the examination and treatment process.

The system also allows this critical information to be securely connected between citizens and authorized healthcare institutions.

On-Site Guidance Activities

Guidance services are actively provided to citizens in various locations, notably at Nong Cong General Hospital and Luan Thanh commune.

Through these implemented guidance activities, local residents are detailedly explained how to use VNeID and integrate electronic health records.

Digital Transformation Goals

Do Thai Hoa, Deputy Director of the Thanh Hoa Department of Health, emphasized that these efforts are a very important task in the digital transformation of the health sector.

The government's main goal is to ensure that 95 percent or more of the population has personal electronic health records by 2030.
