Fire in parked car in Çamlıbel spreads to land
A car was completely burned after catching fire from its engine compartment in Çamlıbel, while dry grass and irrigation hoses on the land where the fire spread were damaged.
A fire that broke out in a parked vehicle in Çamlıbel and spread to dry grass was extinguished by fire crews. While the vehicle was completely burned and approximately 3 dönums of land were damaged in the incident, one person affected by smoke was taken to the health center.
Cause of the Vehicle Fire
A fire broke out for an undetermined reason in the vehicle with license plate FA 682, which was parked and running on a plot of land in Çamlıbel. According to examinations, it was determined that the fire likely started as a result of a gasoline leak in the engine compartment igniting upon contacting hot parts.
Flames Spreading to Land and Environment
The flames, which started in the engine section and grew in a short time, also spread to the surrounding dry grass. As a result of this situation, the dry grass within an area of approximately 3 dönums and a 100-meter-long irrigation hose were completely burned and damaged.
Fire Department Intervention and Injured Status
Thanks to the timely and effective intervention of the fire crews, the flames were brought under control and extinguished before spreading to a larger area. One person, who was affected by the dense smoke generated during the fire, was taken to the Çamlıbel Health Center as a precaution.
