Free Health Screening Conducted in Bayburt within the Scope of Public Health Week
On the occasion of Public Health Week from September 3 to 9, free health screenings and information sessions were provided to citizens at stands set up in Bayburt and Hakkâri.
On the occasion of Public Health Week, celebrated across Turkey from September 3 to 9, comprehensive health screenings, vaccination checks, and awareness-raising activities were carried out for citizens under the auspices of the provincial health directorates in Bayburt and Hakkâri.
Health Screening in Bayburt
Free health screening services were provided to citizens by the teams of the Bayburt Provincial Health Directorate at a stand set up in front of the Yakutiye Mosque. As part of the efforts, blood sugar, blood pressure, height, and weight measurements were taken to evaluate the health status of the citizens.
Vaccination Status Checks
During the events, citizens' vaccination schedules and statuses were checked via the e-Pulse system. Individuals with missing vaccinations were directed to family physicians, and informative brochures on preventive health services were distributed.
Event Areas in Hakkâri
In the province of Hakkâri, a tent was set up in the garden of the Hakkâri State Hospital, and information stands were erected in front of the Hacı Sait Mosque. Preventive health topics such as childhood vaccinations, pregnancy, and risk group vaccinations were addressed in these areas.
Comprehensive Health Checks
In the tents and stands set up, citizens underwent height, weight, and body mass index measurements, as well as oral and dental health checks. These checks aimed to raise public health awareness.
Featured Theme and Trainings
Throughout the events, the theme "Question the Information, Verify the Source, Protect Your Health with Vaccination" was highlighted. Additionally, practical training on basic first aid practices was provided to participants by UMKE personnel.
