The Air Hospital and former State Hospital in Eskişehir, alongside health areas in Sivrihisar and Mihalıççık, have been completely removed from the scope of privatization by a published Presidential Decree.

Details and Scope of the Decision

A new decision has been made for various health facilities and plots of land in Eskişehir that were previously included in the privatization scope and program.

With the official regulation, the privatization processes for the said immovable properties have been halted.

How the Process Developed and Concluded

AK Party Eskişehir Deputy Ayşen Gürcan stated that they had closely monitored the issue from day one and announced to the public that the process yielded a positive result.

As a result of the initiatives undertaken, the process aimed at removing the relevant immovables from the scope of privatization was made official.

Initiatives Undertaken Before Ankara

It was stated that a joint effort was carried out alongside Eskişehir Governor Erdinç Yılmaz and AK Party Eskişehir Provincial Chairman Gürhan Albayrak to ensure a positive conclusion to the process.

The decision was implemented as a result of contacts conducted by local government and party representatives with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Minister of Health Kemal Memişoğlu.

History of the Official Decision

The termination of the privatization process, which had been awaited with curiosity and closely followed in the city for a long time, was officially completed with the Presidential Decree dated August 20, 2026, and numbered 11722.
