According to a new document issued by the Can Tho City Department of Education and Training, health checks will be conducted at the beginning of the school year for students and all school staff in educational institutions, and the results will be reported to the Health Data Portal.

Health Check Regulations

The Can Tho City Department of Education and Training has issued a document regarding the implementation of health checks for students, trainees, staff, teachers, and employees with the start of the new academic year. The implementation aims to effectively carry out disease prevention work in educational institutions.

Legal Grounds and Scope

The content of the health checks will be carried out in accordance with the regulations of the relevant circular of the Ministry of Health and the Government decree. Within this scope, students who have already undergone the necessary health checks or examinations in 2026 will not be required to be examined again.

Data Portal and Deadline

Educational institutions are required to completely, accurately, and promptly update students' health check results on the Health Data Portal. The deadline for completing these checks at the beginning of the school year and entering the results into the portal has been set as September 28, 2026.

Funding and Related Plans

Municipal and district people's committees, along with educational institutions, will provide funding for the organization of health checks based on actual conditions and budget allocations. Additionally, reviews for managers and staff will be conducted and lists compiled based on the Ministry of Health plan.

Reporting Obligation

Units will coordinate with healthcare organizations to organize the checks in compliance with the law on occupational safety and hygiene and transfer the data to the system. The implementation results will be reported to the Ministry of Education and Training no later than September 28, 2026.
