The incident took place in the evening hours at an astroturf pitch located in Sancaktepe Neighborhood, in Kayseri's Kocasinan district.

Mehmet Ali Doğan, who worked as an X-ray technician in the Angiography unit of Kayseri City Hospital, suddenly fell ill and collapsed to the ground during the match.
Upon his friends' notification, health teams dispatched to the scene rushed the young worker to the hospital, but he could not be saved.
