Proactive Healthcare and Nutrition Discussed at Seminar in Vietnam
At a scientific event, experts made critical evaluations on protecting health through daily meals and proper nutritional habits.
Gathering at a scientific seminar held in Vietnam, experts pointed out that proactive healthcare must begin before diseases emerge, offering important recommendations on proper nutritional habits.
Purpose of the Seminar and Cooperating Institutions
A comprehensive scientific seminar was organized in cooperation with the Vietnam Health Promotion Counseling Association, the Central Health Education and Communication Center, and the Digital Content and Communication Center of the Vietnam News Agency.
Shaping Health Through Daily Meals
Associate Professor Dr. Pham Thanh Binh, President of the Vietnam Health Promotion Counseling Association, stated that human health is shaped by daily meals and that proactive care must begin before a disease appears.
Three Transformations Needed in Society
During the seminar, experts drew attention to three fundamental transformations that need to be created in society, emphasizing that habits and a sense of responsibility must be reviewed.
Smart Approaches in Nutritional Habits
It was stated that a shift should be made from eating out of habit to eating intelligently, moving from formal quality control to substantive quality control, and spreading responsibility throughout society.
Risk Points in Vietnamese Cuisine
At the event, risky points in the kitchen—such as the excessive use of oil for frying, trans fats, and unbalanced eating habits—were addressed, and correct cooking methods were discussed.
Moderate Oil Usage and Cooking Methods
It was noted that oils should be used moderately, priority should be given to alternative methods such as boiling and steaming, and fresh, seasonal foods should be preferred.
